Project Experience
AXYCAD delivers reinforced concrete packages and civil engineering works across transport, highways, water and utilities, energy, data centres, industrial and building sectors. Our leadership and delivery team bring close to two decades of hands-on experience managing complex RC programmes on major UK infrastructure — from HS2 viaducts and highway flyovers to settlement tanks, substation foundations and commercial builds. The specialist reinforcement, formwork and concrete teams who delivered those projects now form part of AXYCAD's operational model.
3 abutments and 55 piers forming the substructure of a major viaduct. High-volume reinforced concrete programme requiring proprietary formwork cycling, large continuous pours and full ITP documentation.

Full FRC package covering both abutments, wing walls at 4 corners, piers, deck with precast beams and associated culvert works. Achieved GOOD safety rating on completion.

Full FRC package for a flyover structure on a live carriageway carrying over 10,000 vehicles per day, plus 1,000 m RECO retaining wall (2,672 panels) awarded separately on the strength of delivery performance. Concrete works executed within single night road closures using bespoke temporary works designs and own shuttering systems.

2No FSTs — hoppers, base slabs and ring beams. 300 mm slabs at 7.5°, conical hopper formwork, radial rebar layout and metal waterstop installation.
